An offering 💚


I’m sure you feel it, too.

Feelings of tension and divisiveness, especially as we get closer to Tuesday.

No matter where you land on the political spectrum, we all have the same thing in common: we’re humans who show up and make decisions based on the experiences that have shaped the lens through which we see the world.

Like you, I don’t know what the results of this election will be or the ripple effect it’ll have. But what I DO know is that we all, deep down on a soul level, long for the same things:

To love & be loved

To feel safe

To feel seen & heard

To feel valued

To experience joy

To belong

And so, in the hopes of bringing more love, light and compassion into this world, I offer you this free metta (loving-kindness) meditation.

Metta (or loving-kindness) is a Buddhist practice where we send love and compassion to ourselves and others. This helps to remind us of our intrinsic connection as well as deepen it.

In this 10 minute meditation, you’ll begin by first sending loving kindness to yourself.

You’ll then send loving kindness to someone in your life who you care for deeply.

Then, you’ll send loving kindness to someone you have a difficult time with. Someone who perhaps angers, triggers, or frustrates you.

Finally, you’ll send loving kindness to the collective, to all beings.

My hope is that this practice lessens and softens the space that divides us. Even if only a little.
